Christmas Day continues...

After having lunch at the Thomas' house, we left town for Breckenridge.  That evening we were blessed to see cousins, aunts, uncles, and more.  We enjoyed opening gifts, eating fabulous food, and playing crazy games!

Carson specifically picked out these shirts for him and Daddy!  Mommy's supermen!

Logan playing the game, Pie in the Face

Sweet Batgirl loving her new jammies

Santa has ARRIVED!

Carson hiding Lilli's eyes before going to see gifts from Santa

Santa brought Carson mystery eggs just as he requested!  The eggs were filled with Batman and his friends!

Santa brought Lilli a kitchen so that she could cook like mommy!

Carson loved that Daddy picked out the Riddler for him!

Lilli received a personalized book from Put Me In the Story

After opening gifts, we continued our family tradition of having cinnamon rolls.  We were blessed to share God's love with the Weatherall's by taking some to their sweet family.

Christmas Eve

The celebrations this year began at our house!  We opened up presents from Pop and Mimi before traveling to Prosper to attend the Christmas Eve service with the Walton's and Trosters.

Trust In God...

On Christmas Eve, we went to downtown Grapevine to explore the Christmas decorations and take some pictures.  While we were there, we met a man who was a blacksmith by trade.  He invited us into his shop and immediately it was evident that he was a follower of God.  During our visit, he created cowboy hats out of coins for each of us.  The message on the hat read, Trust in God.  One of my many prayers for you, Carson and Lilli, is to be a man and a woman that is immediately recognized as a follower of God.  I pray that you constantly seek God's guidance in your life and that you have an undeniable love for others.  Throughout your journey, I pray that you never lose your trust in God.  I pray that you see Him daily: in each other, in nature, in people that he allows to cross your path, and in the most simple things.  I pray that you are seeking His presence daily and don't become blindsided by the things that satan puts in your life.  Your souls are so precious!  I am beyond blessed to have been called to be your mother!
Carson is 5 years, 1 month-old.  He is a loving, big brother who adores his little sister.  He often has a difficult time expressing his love and will squeeze her so tightly to remind her.  Carson loves superheroes, but he is most interested in Batman.  He is a very smart boy.  He is learning to read, and is writing all of his letters and his name.

Lilli is 16 months-old.  She LOVES her big brother and constantly watches everything that he is doing.  She is interested in all of Carson's toys.  She loves to climb, dance, cook, and EAT!  Her words are changing daily, and she prefers to express her needs by grunting and pointing.  She is a very smart, little girl.  She will complete the most difficult commands.
